What's the difference between margin and markup?
Margin = profit ÷ price (how much of every lari you keep). Markup = profit ÷ cost (how much more you sell for than it cost). Both are correct — they answer different questions.
What counts as a “good” margin?
It depends on the category — it often falls somewhere in the 20–50% range, but that's not a rule: handmade goods, electronics, and food each have very different cost structures. Use it as a reference point, not a target.
Does it include the bank's card fee?
