Installments and pay in parts

Bank installments and pay in parts in your online shop

Buyers need not pay for a pricey item at once. They pick a bank and a term, the bank approves them, and the bank pays you.

How do I offer installments in my online shop in Georgia?

On Sellit a shop offers installments and pay in parts from every bank it has an agreement with: Bank of Georgia (installments and pay in parts, 4 × 0 %), TBC (through Flitt — 4 × 0 % or a longer term — or TBC's own installments) and Credo (through Keepz). At checkout the buyer sees one group, "Pay in parts or installments": every bank has its own row with its true terms. The bank approves the buyer and pays the money straight to you; Sellit takes 0% commission on sales.

What the buyer sees at checkout

Checkout has three groups: Card, "Pay in parts or installments" and Other. In the installments group every bank has its own row with its mark, its product and its true terms; a 4-part 0 % option shows the amount of each part. When the total is outside a bank's range, the row stays visible, turned off, with the reason. The product page also says which banks' installments are possible.

What you need from the bank

The bank must turn on online installments for your business: that is your agreement with the bank. Bank of Georgia uses your BOG keys. TBC's own installments need TBC's 4 keys. TBC through Flitt works when Flitt is your card method, and Credo when Keepz is.

Other banks

Liberty, Space and Terabank publish no public API for online shops yet. A bank is added when it opens one: as one new row in the table.

How to connect

  1. Ask your bank to turn on online installments for your business: Bank of Georgia, TBC, or Keepz for Credo.

  2. Open Settings → Payments, the installments part.

  3. Turn on each bank's row. For TBC's own installments, paste TBC's 4 keys.

  4. Open a pricey product's page: it says which banks' installments are possible.

Questions sellers ask

Which banks' installments work?

Bank of Georgia (installments and pay in parts), TBC (through Flitt, or TBC's own installments) and Credo (through Keepz).

Who pays the bank's fee?

The bank's terms decide: your agreement with the bank and the buyer's agreement with the bank. Sellit takes no commission on installments.

When do I get the money?

The order is marked paid when the bank confirms the payment. The bank pays the money to you, on the terms of your agreement.

Is there a minimum order total?

Yes, each bank has its own: they are in the table above. When the total is outside the range, the row shows turned off with the reason, and the buyer picks another way.

What if the buyer returns the item?

Installments paid through Flitt or Keepz are refunded like a card. For a Bank of Georgia installment Sellit asks the bank for the refund; if the bank refuses, you cancel it in BOG Business Manager within 14 days. A TBC application is cancelled before TBC pays you; after that, you settle it with TBC.

Can I offer several banks together?

Yes, every bank has its own row in one group. Bank of Georgia and TBC's own installments work with any card method; TBC through Flitt needs Flitt, and Credo needs Keepz.

Why are Liberty, Space or Terabank missing?

These banks publish no public API for online shops yet. A bank is added when it opens one.

Do I need a separate agreement with the bank?

Yes: the bank must turn on online installments for your business. After that, Sellit shows every bank you turned on in one group.
