Release date, pre-orders and the notify-me waitlist
In the product editor, in the "Release date and pre-order" section, set the date and time (Tbilisi time) when the product goes on sale. Until then buyers cannot buy it — the shop shows "Coming soon" and checkout refuses the order. If you turn on "Accept pre-orders", buyers can order and pay now; the order history records "Pre-order" with the release date so you know when to ship. In Design, add the "Notify me" block (group "Bookings, drops & requests") and pick the product: buyers leave their email, and the real count ("N people waiting") shows only once at least one person has signed up. When the release time passes, each person gets one email with a link to the product (within a few minutes, and only while the product is active). The "Countdown" block counts days, hours, minutes and seconds to a product's release date or to a date you type; after the date it either hides or shows "Out now". The list of emails is in Marketing → Audience → Waitlist, and you can export it to Excel. If you clear the date, the product is on sale at once and the waitlist emails go out.
