Cost price and profit

In the product editor, next to the price, there's an optional "Cost" field (what it cost you) — filling it in is entirely your choice. You see profit (revenue minus cost×units) in the detailed Analytics report (Excel export); if not every product has a cost entered, the report honestly shows what % of sales the real profit figure covers. Cost is never shown on any public/storefront page — only you see it.
