What the three numbers at the top of Products mean

At the top of the Products screen are three facts. “Products” — your total, with a hint of how many are “active”. “Out of stock” — when it’s above zero it turns into a “Needs restock” warning. “Inventory value” — price × stock on hand across your whole catalog. These three summarize the entire catalog, not the filtered view. Gotcha: items with empty (unlimited) stock don’t add to Inventory value, and the “Out of stock” count is your quick daily check for what to restock.
