How to import products from an Excel/CSV file
To add many products at once, press the “Import” button on the Products screen — on a phone it lives in the “More” menu. A window opens where you upload an Excel or CSV file; the AI detects the columns (name, price, stock…) for you, then shows you the prepared products to review before you press “Import”. Gotcha: this is specifically the spreadsheet (Excel/CSV) import path — don’t confuse it with the screen’s other tools: “Export to Excel” does the opposite and downloads your catalog as a file, while “Import from Instagram” creates products from photos. All three are separate actions. The sheet can also include columns for old price, cost, an English name/description pair, and several photo links (image2, image3…) — and when several rows share one name with a size/colour column, they're grouped into a single product with variants instead of duplicate products. Re-uploading the same file doesn't duplicate your catalog: a product matched by name gets updated instead (the preview list marks each row "New" or "Updates"), so bulk-changing prices or stock is as simple as re-uploading the updated sheet. If the same name appears more than once in your catalog, we can't guess which one to update — that row gets added as new instead, and you'll see a warning. The stock column may also be called "ნაშთი" (balance), and "Total"/blank rows are unchecked by default in the preview so they don't get imported by accident.
