What does the store status (“Live”, “Setting up…”) mean?

At the top of the “Overview” screen, below the shop name, there is a status pill. Its meanings: “Live” — the shop is active and buyers can shop; “Setting up…” — the secure address is being provisioned, usually a minute or two after launch; “Paused”, “Closed” or “Offline” — the shop is temporarily down. On a phone the same signal is a small dot next to the shop name in the top bar. Remember: if it shows “Setting up…” for a few minutes right after creation, that is normal HTTPS provisioning — refresh shortly; while “Paused/Closed”, buyers can’t order.
